Extra Credit Problem 2
Go to the MAA web site www.maa.org . Under "Publications" select
one of the columnists. Read a couple of the articles and write a
brief summary of the article. Relate any mathematical items
mentioned in the article which you have also studied in one of your
math classes at MC.
Prepare your informal review of your findings and email it as an
attachment to the instructor. Be sure to include
references noting where you get your material.
This assignment is due by the Monday following Thanksgiving.
Successful completion of this
project will count as an extra quiz grade to replace a missed quiz or a
low quiz grade. An extensive review might be given additional credit.
